Go to SolutionDrive serial number mismatch
Hi Guys,
we are currently running NW 7.4.3 on Win 2k3 sp2 platform. We recently had some drives replaced and we are now getting the following error:
"Device/media error: read open error: command completed successfully (drive status is 65329 35 The \
drive serial number has changed)",
"read open error: command completed successfully (drive status is 65329 35 The drive serial number \
has changed)",
"Device/media error: read open error: command completed successfully (drive status is 65329 35 The \
drive serial number has changed)";
After the error counts reaches a certain level we get the drives entering service mode. I have ran inquire and checked the drives serial numbers with the drives information in the legato GUI and they match, however we are still getting the error in our daemon.raw.
Is anyone aware of where NW maybe caching this information?
Is there a way to clear it?
Is there a way of getting these errors to stop?
i have tried deleting and recreating the devices in NW, I have also disabled CDI but nothing has helped.
Thanks
