gstd SSL critical Unable to complete SSL handshake

Hi,

I have a NWS and NMC installed on the same host based on RHEL 6.2 x86_64.  The host has the OpenLDAP client installed.

On the NMC a report user is created to retrieve reports from the NMC.

When running the  NMC script to retrieve the report, for exmaple,

/opt/lgtonmc/bin/gstclreport -r "Group Summary by Client and Server" -u report

The script returns a null and the help info and in the gstd.raw  the following message is shown:

89646 04/23/2014 03:49:37 PM  5 13 9 3422549760 15325 0 nwserv1 gstd SSL critical Unable to complete SSL handshake: An error occurred as a result of an SSL protocol failure

The NMC is configured to use the native authentication.

I came upon an article about the following and try it but it does not work:

"If you run into an issue and can’t login, you can override to the internal authentication or reset it back again to the internal authentication, you have to perform the following steps:

  • Navigate to the following directory

\cst

  • Create a zero-byte file with the following name and with no extension

authoverride

  • Restart “EMC GST Service”

"

The only way it works is to have the LDAP client removed  on the host.  It seems  the NMC is using LDAP to authenticate even though the native authentication is configured.

Has anyone run into this problem?  Any work-around?  Your help is appreciated.
