How to configure Networker for SQL AAGs?

Hi all,

I have SQL AlwaysOn Availability Groups:

- sql14-01.lab.vn, sql14-02.lab.vn, cluster.lab.vn (cluster failover), AG Listener, availability  database (SQLDB-01)

And Networker server, AD

I want to backup SQL AAGs and I have installed:

- networker client, NWVSS for SQL on sql14-01.lab.vn, sql14-02.lab.vn.

But when I create client (cluster.lab.vn) in protection tab, It doesn't load database and I don't continue.

I don't know in SQL server, how I must install or run command to create client. Please help me! thanks!

Check if the 'System' user on the cluster nodes have 'sysadmin' role assigned to them in SQL or you enter the credentials of the account which has 'sysadmin' role in SQL. Below are the details from the Guide.

By default, the system account which is the service account of the nsrexecd service

does not have the sysadmin role for the SQL server. When configuring the client resource,

you must set the username and password of a Windows account with the system

administrator role on the SQL server and administrator role on the client in the Remote

username and Password fields in NMC.

Need to understand the issue by looking at the

    1. NSRSQLSV.RAW

    2. NSRNMSQLRA.RAW

You may get the clue on the root cause.  Happy troubleshooting!!
