Does anyone know what this means? What is the purpose of scanning or not scanning? I tried to find information on this and all I can find is how to remove the scan or run the scan. But what is the purpose of the scan? Isn't this a purge done automatically?

I'm new to Netwoker and just trying to make sense of the terminology used here.
