We are considering now to implement "vsphere data protection 6". Our vmware license allows to use it.. we plan to use it only for image level backups, integrated with dd.

The VDP appliance is not flooding the vcenter logs like EBR...

Can you tell me any pro/cons why should I use networker integrated EBR instead of VDP?

Yes.. It supports vSphere 6.0 environment using EBR version 1.1.50 which is GA since a couple of month already. Can refer to VMware integration Guide of NetWorker (Latest can be downloaded from https://support.emc.com) for more details

Where can we download ebr updates for our vdp appliance?   I can't find them on the support site.
