PowerConnect 6248 half-dead
PowerConnect 6248, powers up:
Fan + fan led = OK
Master and PWR led = ON
DIAG led OFF, never blinks, nothing.
Can connect to the ethernet ports (they come up), but I don't know the config and I don't have any connectivity.
Nothing on the console port. Just an "Y" when I boot. I have a good null modem cable that works with anoter 6248, and I tried every possible baud rate, N81, no flow control.
Any clue ?

Hi,
If you have warranty, I think it's the only way to consult tech support. Switch is obviously malfunction. Maybe it will occasionally work correct after some reloads... but looks like you need the new one
