I need to update the software and the boot code on a number of switches that we currently using.

I have two questions that I can find an answer for.

1) There a number of updates available.  

The 5324 is currently using SW Version 1.0.0.45, boot code 1.0.0.21

The 5424 is currently using SW Version 1.0.0.31, boot code 1.0.0.6

I realize that I need to update both at the same time but are the updates cumulative or do I have to do each one

2) When I do the update will I have to reprogram them or will it keep its existing configuration.
