600m wireless problem

When I am using the 600m with wireless enabled, I often get stalls for up to two minutes. These stalls go away when I disable the wireless connection or when I have an ethernet connection. It is most notable when click on URL in the event viewer and Dell's Help viewer is launched. The wireless connection has very good signal strength and I can browse the internet just fine, but the delays are abhorrently long and troubling.
Anyone has any clues what maybe causing this lag.

I'm having the same problems! I haven't noticed it being any better or worse depending on the URL. I'll be able to surf about 3 sites (I don't know if it's the number or the timing) and all of a sudden the network will die - just like you the wireless connection will be great. When I disable to radio for a few seconds and re-enable it, I'll have great throughput for a while. Sometimes Fn-F2 doesn't work, however, and I have to go into ProSET to disable and enable the radio.
Are you using a range expander or repeater on your wireless network? What BIOS version do you have? Have you had any luck fixing the problem?

Yes, I found that the problem of stalling had to do with it looking for the Windows 2000 domain controller that it was connected too when it was initially setup. It had nothing to do with signal strength. It would periodically look for it when certain operations were performed. I found it by searching the registry, for the DC's name and removing ALL signs of it and the problem vanished.
