Bluetooth Device Not Found.
I'm starting to believe my bluetooth card has vanished.
I'm using an Inspiron e1405 with Windows XP (Media Center)
A day or two ago my mouse and keyboard stopped working, I use a Logitech MX5000 combo. It wouldn't reconnect so I was forced to restart my computer. Once I restarted my computer, my Bluetooth symbol came up red.
Under diagnostics in Bluetooth Configuration it tells me that the "Bluetooth Device is not found."
The software it uses is WIDCOMM 5.0.1.2703, I cannot update this as it tells me to enable bluetooth which I cannot do.
I know my bluetooth card is internal, but I'm not sure exactly what one. I've looked in run > msinfo32.exe (Using the guide to find what model it is.) but I could not find one listed.
I've tried installing drivers and updates listed but none can be installed due to it not finding a bluetooth device or a later version of WIDCOMM already installed.
I know it does exist on my computer because a few days ago I was using it to transfer files to my phone. It just seems like that when my mouse and keyboard died and I restarted my computer, it also killed my bluetooth card. I'd hate to have to buy another, so I'm hoping someone has a solution to my there yet, not there, bluetooth issue.
