connection

Hi this is my first post hope I am in the right forum. I recently bought a Dell Inspiron 531 for my daughter she has signed up to Sky Broadband my daughter says the modem supplied has got a Ethernet connection how can she connect this modem to the computer thank you in advance

    She needs to connect the ethernet port on the broadband modem to the ethernet port on the computer with a CAT 5 ethernet cable.   This is a pretty standard cable available at Walmart, Kmart, RadioShack, Office Depot, OfficeMax, Staples, etc.
