I am not completely sure if this question should be here, but I thought I would just start here.

So I currently have a Dell Inspiron 15R Notebook (Inspiron 7520) with a i5-3210M processor, 6GB DDR3 RAM, and an intel centrino wireless 2230 network adapter. I am running Windows 8

My IP is Cox and I have a SURFboard Model : SB6120 with a Netgear N600 router.

My problem is that on my laptop only ( other family members have Lenovos with Atheros network adapters) my internet connection will randomly disconnect, and I get the yellow triangle. Usually if I run the troubleshooter, it identifies the problem as the default gateway not being available, and then it fixes the problem temporarily. Then the problem occurs again at random, and it is driving me up to the wall. Any possible solutions? I can provide any additional information. Thank you!
