Gigabit for Inspiron 1720

Anyone know if the Inspiron 1720 can be upgraded (or ordered) with a gigabit network card vs the standard 10/100 card?

The 10/100 adapter is integrated on the motherboard, thus cannot be changed. The only option would be to get a Gigabit Express Card adapter to fit in the Express Card slot on the side of the computer. Both Linksys and Belkin make such adapters.

I have no experience with either, so I cannot make an informed recommendation. All I can say is PCMCIA has been around longer with network adapters and if it were me I would go with that. Perhaps someone else has a more informed opinion.
