From what I am reading, the Atheros AR9285 802.11b/g/n WiFi Adapter works on the 2.4GHz ONLY. What places call wireless N standards are different. You have to read closely to if the wireless adapter will work on both the 2.4GHz and the 5.8GHz frequencies.
