latitude E6400 wired + wireless = no internet

Hello everyone,

Since 3 or more weeks I have an issue with my latitude E6400, if the wifi is ON and the ethernet wire is plugged I cannot access to internet, I have to switch OFF my WIFI to get internet back.

Can you help me with this issue it's kind of annoying.

Thank you

    Hi,

    Welcome to the Community.

There should be an option on your wireless card properties window to disable the wireless connection once connected directly through the internet. Else, try this….

start -> control panel -> network and internet connections icon -> network connections icon -> advanced menu -> Advanced settings... -> in the Connections: box, move the Local Area Connection up (before Wireless Network Connection). This will make the Local Area Connection profile take precedence over the Wireless Network Connection profile -> REBOOT.

    Hope this Helps
