M90 Wireless

Hi...

I've just bought a M90 laptop, and I'm trying to set it up as I want it. But I found one problem with the wireless card, each time I'm closeing the screen. It disconnect the Wireless card (Intel PROset/Wireless). Want it to keep it downloading, when my screen is closed.

No, I've turned all that off... It is no, the only thing there not is no is my wireless card when i close the screen?

Is there some dell software, there shutdowns the wireless to save some of the power?

If you go into the ProSet/Wireless software, click "Advanced" then "Adapter Settings". In the window that opens, click on the "Power Management" tab and see if "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power." is checked.

Check and see if the problem happens only on battery or when it's plugged in too. Several things turn themselves off when the laptop is on battery power as opposed to plugged in.

    Hope it helps.
