Wireless Network Unavailable

I have a new Belkin wireless router the cabled computer is fine. However after 5 minutes my wireless laptop disconnects with a notice "Wireless connection is disconnected"
If I run ipconfig I get "Media disconnected"

    A little more detail such as which wireless card you are using, are you using the inbuilt windows wireless utility or the manufacturer's wireless utility to manage your connection.
    Are there other wireless networks in your vicinity and are they using the same wireless channel as you are?
