I got an wireless printer server for my home office, 3300, that is attached to a photo 964 all in one. However the work network I am on at my home office doesn't reconize anyother wireless network when I am logged into it. The print server works fine when I am not logged in to the work system at home. My question is can I run a printer cable from my laptop dock to the back of the print server so it would still work wired and wireless? There is that plug there from when you set up the printer to work with the server. I would like to keep the wirless server for my desktop on the network as well if I could. If not I don't really need the wireless printserver. Hope I explained it ok.
Are you asking, if you are logged in to your work network from home using Remote Desktop, can you access the 964 wirelessly on your laptop by connecting a USB cable from the 964 to your port replicator(dock station)?
Having never done this, a WAG would be Yes. However, you may only be able to get the print feature of the 964 to work...
Are you running the print server in ad hoc mode? If you have a wireless network, the print server should be joined to that network. Look at the setup for the print server (I'm not familiar with it) to see if it can connect with your AP.
