Wireless with 600m
Hi I have made up my mind and I will buy the 600m this week. However I do have one last doubt regarding the configuration. Dell's website claims wireless connectiviy is "standard" with the 600m, however in the Wireless options section when customizing the system it is asking me to add a wirless card to my system (default is NO WIRELESS CARD). So does this mean that I need to purchase one of these cards (either 802.11 b or g) in order to have my 600m connect wirelessly? Also what is the so called Integrated Dual-Band (802.11 a/b) antenna that is also supposed to be standard? Does this substitute the card in any way?
One last note, dell claims on the "key features" of the 600m that "Intergrated Intel® Pro Wireless 2100 (802.11b) miniPCI wireless is standard, enabling Intel CentrinoTM mobile technology. However they are charging $19.99 to add it when selecting a card when customizing the system. Sorry for the confusion, I just want to make my purchase correct the first time.
Thanks in advance!

Hey,totono. Though I am not in America, maybe don't quite know well about the
situation there, but, I know inspiron 600m must have a wireless card in it,which is
adhere in the CPU. You could easily get online through it.Why?
because I am using the inspiron 500m, which, compared to 600m, is just lack of
a individual screen card, but nearly the same in other parts. So I think you should
ask clearly about the sellsers in the shop you turned to.
What't more, one of my friends has an inspiron 600m,surely, has the wireless card,
his laptop has been sent to repaired several weeks ago,but , unluckly, the laptop sent
back with the wireless card gone,he could never get online wireless as he used to,
now he is calling about the Dell service phone for explanation.
I hope you should be careful and get a great computer from Dell.
