DELL 8300??

I have a DELL 8300 with 3.0 GHz,4gb of ram and a 128 graphics card. I would like to up the graphics card but DELL is only showing me that I can go up to a 256 (3DFuzion GeForce FX5500 256MB DDR PCI Graphics Card) I am wondering is this true or can I get a 512? I'd like it for some gaming that I have not done in a while and it is slow. TIA BD

Your system will only take AGP type Video Cards.  But there are many available - see what is listed at www.newegg.com

Your biggest issue will be power.  The 8300's either came with a 250 or a 305 watt power supply (but Dell tends to underrate power supplies so the 250 is more like a 300 and the 305 is more like a 350) so whatever video card you decide on, check the power requirements (the actual video card plus the rest of the PC).

HERE is the Dell system specs from the manual

Inspiron 16 5630 Laptop and WD22TB4 Docking Station
Self-built desktop for recording studio application

Thanks for the reply and system specs as well. If I wanted to up my power supply is DELL the place to get it as these box's are different than ones I have made.
