3060, does not support forcepxeonnextboot
We use the Dell Command Configure software to sometimes reboot our workstations and let them do a pxe boot. Since we are using this we never ran into problems, until we received the Optiplex 3060. Optipex 3050 was still working.
Normally all we have to do is install dell command configure and use the command
cctk.exe --forcepxeonnextboot
When we do this on a Optiplex 3060 we get the message:
The option 'forcepxeonnextboot' is not available or cannot be configured through this tool
This is really a problem for us, because we use this feature to image our workstation without having to go the physical workstation. It's a kind of ZTI. Does anyone know if we are doing something wrong here? Is the option we are using deprecated? Is there another way to achieve the same? Is this a bug?

Hi,
We are using this version: Dell Command Configure Version 3.2.0 209 (Windows - Jan 20 2017, 23:13:19).
When I use this software on a 3040 with exact the same OS and other software I do see the option but not on a 3060 (Micro form factor). We are using MS MDT to image both desktops,so the distribution of software shouldn't be an issue.

Can you try the current version of DCC (v4.1)?

The 3060 isn't listed as a supported platform for the version you're running and subsequently there have been a lot of changes to the DCC software (and also on the hardware side of things)
If you still have the same issue with 4.1 let us know and we can dig a bit deeper.

Hi,
Today I downloaded the version you recommended us. I installed it on a fresh install of windows 10 1607 LTSB on a Optiplex 3060 and on a Optiplex 3050. Unfortunately the results are the same.The 3060 doesn't show us the option and the 3050 does show the option when cctk -h.
So using the new version didn't help us. Too bad, it was a good option.

Hi Robert,
Thanks for trying that. I'm thinking that it might be something to do with the boot options that are selected, since the newer generation of systems only support legacy booting from external devices.

Hello, I am also seeing that the -AutoOn=Weekdays command is not working either for the Optiplex 3060 with Dell Command Configure 4.1.0.478. Any updates to this situation? Thanks, Steve Arel Denton ISD2049

Hi Alasdair, We're experiencing the same problem on the optiplex 7050 and latitude 5500 If we enable the option ForcePxeOnNextBoot the system does not boot to PXE. Tested with older versions of command configure and the latest one (4.2.0.553). Can you please share your PM? Maybe it's the same solution for us. Kind regards, Tom282

Has anyone found a solution or workaround for this? I have the same issue on a Vostro 5590 with the latest BIOS.

What version of DCC are you using?
Does the command appear in the list if you try cctk.exe -H?
