7050 MT, graphic card compatibility?
Hi,
I am having a Dell OptiPlex 7050 desktop, I am planning to upgrade the graphic card which Autodesk AutoCAD recommended.
this are the list of Nvidia graphics card
1. Nvidia Quadro K620
2. Nvidia Quadro K420
3.Nvidia Quadro P600
4.Nvidia Quadro P400
Please confirm will this graphics card will fully support in OptiPlex 7050 with no additional or change in power supply.

Not sure that any of these systems still have CSM which means unless its a DELL card it wont post or boot because secure boot cannot be turned off.
@DELL-Chris M would have to weigh in on that.

Hi @AbHaseeb,
You stated "7050 desktop," which would be the SFF (small form factor). Did you mean "desktop" as the size? I almost missed it also. Could you please confirm? If it's SFF, it's not a full tower - commonly called mini tower (MT), and it's not the skinny and slim micro.

7040 and 7050 is not a full size tower it has itty bitty 220W power supply just like the Inspiron 3650.

Its a MINI Tower with itty bitty 220W power supply that is NON STANDARD. The Actual case of a standard power supply is LARGER than the 7050 or 3650 case.
Look at the picture of the power supply its a tiny square no larger than your fist. Full size power supply and video cards DO NOT Physically fit into the case.

Since we know the size of the tower, has any further attempts been made at answering the original question? All I could pull up was a quick start guide that doesn't mention specific GPU's. May be it has to be cross referenced the other way around?

Before someone can answer with any certainty, you will have to let us know if your OpriPlex 7050 is a full Tower, the smaller SFF model, or the baby Micro.
