Dell computer showing 2 amber 5 white
- Hello, I have a Dell OptiPlex 7050 and it randomly froze I rebooted it and my fans went up and down (the speed) few reboots tried every solution got ram error fixed that. Now I am getting 2 Amber lights and 5 White lights. My computer is hardly 3 years old please help me.

Hello @WeirdGuy12 , Dell recently releases a new BIOS update for your Optiplex 7050. Usually, I wouldn't recommend a BIOS update unless there is performance issue with the system. Also, this BIOS update contains critical bug fixes and addresses several security issues.
You can review and making decision for yourself. I hope it may fix your current issue.

Ah yes, How am I supposed to add new bios?
I won't get any display so no post so how do I flash the new bios?

Read this thread, not the same PC, not the same issue, but try certain steps suggested by other members for diagnostics and boot.

VGA is better for diagnostic since it's analog. But HDMI should be okay on a regular monitor, avoid using TV. or converter cable.
