multiple screens

I bought myself a Dell optiplex 7010, to hook up my 4 monitors for trading. on Win10 pro.
added ram up to 16 gig.
I have 2 monitors 32 inch, 2560 x 1440 res, and 2 smaller ones with 1680 x 1050.
A 7010 has 2 DP ports, and I was planning to add another video card, for the additional DVI screens.

But it doesn't seem to work, black screens, no screens at all, flickering, just 1 screen (on DP) working, comes on, works for a while, and goes offline, the works.
updates the bios, drivers, put in several other videocards, changed the settings in the bios, tried several other things, but nothing seems to work ?
btw, VGA port works fine, as is 1 DP port, on the proper res.
but when I plug in the second DP plug, the monitor comes online, but stays black.

is it a PSU problem, because of the size (250 w), what can it be ?

You cannot use the integrated video and a discrete video card at the same time. The integrated video will not work if there is a video card installed even if the card is not in use. You need to add a video card to run dual monitors. Doubtful you can run 4 monitors since only a low powered card can be used. What version of 7010? There are 4 diff models. The smallest model--Ultra Small Form Factor doesn't even have a slot for a video card.

The 9 yr old Optiplex is a basic office model for business.

    Thx for your replay Mary.

was also afraid that was the issue
it seems in the BIOS one can choose for multiple screens, but only under win7 and lower versions.
well, not a big issue financially, so, it is what it is.
