odd mouse or video issue?
OptiPlex 7020 with integrated graphics user is running a 19", a 29" and a 34" (all dell) monitors it has been working, but she is having an odd issue where the mouse isn't aligning up with the pointer...the actual place it clicks is different than the tip. it seems to happen in IE when she is using her web-apps here for work. It will go away if you close the IE's and go back in (at lease temporarily) it does not seem to happen in word, etc. No, we cant use Edge or chrome for some of these. I theorized that the websites **bleep** the proverbial bed when they get put onto these mega-large screens. I asked the user to try the aps on the 19" only to see if the results change.

@cleatus45 that sounds more like a problem with IE itself rather than the system.
Can you help with the follow troubleshooting please-
a) Has this issue always been present or is it something that has only happened recently?
b) Are you running the latest versions of Windows, BIOS and graphics drivers?
c) What version of IE are you running?
d) Is it the same website this issue is happening with or is it all websites?
e) If it's one website, it is a local intranet site or is it a publicly accessible webpage?
f) If you use IE in private browsing mode, do you still see the same problem?
g) Have you tried disabling any browser add ons that you may have running?
i) Have you tried resetting IE?
j) Are any other users experiencing the same issue?
I look forward to your reply,
Alan
