XE -DT 2010 desktop
the better manual (of 2) shows this and is riser cards sold 10 years ago, and not one.
Combo full height riser with 1 PCI and 1 PCIe x16 connector
this is low profile 79mm case, and uses 79mm cards, High.
high profile, is 129mm so to fit too tall into too short case the card would need to be put in side ways, like seen on some servers.
and will be limited power, so high power GPU cards will not work.
what do you want to do? tell a goal, or need,?
surely not $60 AAA+ gaming?
where to get it is only Ebay (or amazon) used, I see they ARE RARE.
why not just put in a 79mm low pro card> sold say at Newegg.com, even here click lift side filters for low profile.
the poster showing PCI riser is useless for any GPU card, if that is your unstated goal
PCI is for 2 decade old cards, to fit this PC, what good is that?
answering for XE not XE2, NOT XE3
OK?>
the manual is very confusing (names no real riser in the manual no DELL DP/N !
the wiki does better
shows PCI x2 (legacy junk) YOU HAVE ONLY 1 SLOT BUT ADD A RISER GET 2.
There is only 1 more slot, and is long black x16 slot but is no good. for any GPU made.
PCI=-e X16-x1, (this means a near useless slow fake X16 slot. 1 lane of 16 wired.
worse yet is PCI-e v1.1 slots, super slow and 1 lane is horrible slow.
They hint at x16 riser but would be worthless if you found one (rare ) for GPU, for sure but for say a wifi card and 1 usb port expansion card, sure)
no NEEDS ,wants or goals state by you, no hints at all just what riser means.
id pitch it in the trash here.
lots of contradictory info in the dell pages, the to 10 cards slow on ebay have only 2 slots. there PCI and PCI-e x16
do you have 4 slots per below?
is this yours, the mobo # TNXNR (rare to find)
Reply hard question, hard to find. key word is COMBO, this is x16 slot sideways, but will not run 200 watt cards.
430-2597 - Combo Full Height Riser
