Optiplex 7010 Sff

I have a blinking amber light & it won’t power on. I’ve replaced the power supply. What else could it be?

Hope this helps...

The power LED blinks amber in sequences of 2 or 3 blinks followed by a short pause.

Here are some common amber blink codes and their meanings for the Optiplex 7010 SFF:

Blink Pattern	Meaning	Description / Suggested Resolution
1,1	TPM Detection Failure	Motherboard Built-In Self-Test (MBIST) indicates Trusted Platform Module failure.
1,2	SPI Flash Failure	MBIST indicates unrecoverable Serial Peripheral Interface Flash failure.
1,5	i-Fuse Failure	Embedded Controller unable to program i-Fuse.
1,6	Embedded Controller Internal Failure	Generic catch-all for EC code flow errors.
2,1	CPU Failure	Indicates processor failure .
2,2	Bad Motherboard, Power Supply, or Cabling	Indicates issues with motherboard, PSU, or power cables.
3,5 (3 amber, 5 white)	Seen in some cases, but system still boots	May indicate a non-critical error; system may still function.
