Fatal Error 1410 on an R410 server when replacing System Board

Hello All,

I received a Fatal Error 1410 on an R410 server when replacing System Board yesterday. When I put back the original system board the problem went away.

Do I just have a DOA ( Dead On Arrival ) system board. What usually causes this?

Regards,

Angelo

    Hello Angelo

It is likely a DOA board, but before you give up on the board I would recommend clearing the NVRAM via jumper.

The error is a CPU IERR. A CPU IERR occurs when the CPU detects an error. The error can be with the CPU or another component it communicates with. Since the issue does not occur with the other system board then I would assume the problem is with a component of the system board.

    Thanks
