PowerEdge T110 error update BIOS

I am trying to upgrade the PowerEdge T110, when I do the procedure it restarts the operating system and the screen turns black ... I have to shut down the server and turn it on again, it goes up but with the old BIOS 1.1.4.

The BIOS I'm trying to update is the 1.12.0, windows server 2008 R2 operating system.

    Hello

How long are you letting the system set before you are powering it off? The system doesn't install the BIOS until it is restarted. The screen turning black upon restart sounds normal. You should let the system set for a while before forcing a restart when updating hardware. I would wait up to 1 hour unless documentation states that you should wait longer. Forcing a restart during a hardware update increases the risk of corrupting the firmware or BIOS on the hardware.

Before attempting another BIOS update I suggest clearing NVRAM via jumper and draining flea power. You may also want to try a different BIOS update method. There should be a DOS method on the download page. Instructions for the various methods are at the bottom of the download page.
