What model of server to you have?  1800?  2800?  2850?

Does your model have a status LCD panel?  Is it amber and scrolling a message, or is it blue?

Do you have an OS installed on it?  Server Administrator?

What is the pattern of the beep?

When does the beeping start (exactly!) ... when Windows starts or before, during the POST/BIOS screens?

Did you make any changes to the system?

Obviously we don't have enough info to tell you what is wrong with it ... it could be a failed drive and the beeping is the RAID controller, or it could be a BIOS beep code, signaling some faulty hardware or incompatible configuration.

Then it is likely a software problem.  Open a command prompt and type in NET STOP BEEP.  If the beeping doesn't stop, make sure it is actually coming from the server and not an adjacent server or UPS box.  If the beeping does stop, then it is some software or driver causing the beep; you may need to use MSCONFIG for a selective startup to narrow down what is causing it.  This is common for UPS software as well.

You can check the Hardware Logs by going to OMSA, System, Logs tab to look for hardware errors/warnings.

Instructions on using MSCONFIG (Start, Run..., MSCONFIG) can be found below.  It is about XP and optimizing startup, but the same can be used as a troubleshooting tool.  Start with the Services and check the "Hide Microsoft Services" box.  You might start with disabling the first half of the list to see if it is one of those services are responsible for the beeping.  If it still beeps, then try the other half.  If it stops beeping, then split that half into half again.  You basically want to narrow it down to the one service causing the beep.  Yes, this can be very time-consuming.  You may start by Googling some of the software you have installed (UPS, etc.).

At this point, I really don't need any logs.  I was only telling you how to check the Hardware Logs for possible entries as the cause of the beeping, like a failed drive, but it is doubtful that there is anything in that log that would apply to your beeping, since your beeping is software-related.

Actually the beep was not stopped by issuing “net stop beep” as I was remotely accessing that and could not hear that at that time. Last time I did stop it by changing its status within
