Adding disk to the existing RAID

Hello, I'm not a server expert and would really appreciate for some advise. I have a dell poweredge R730 which has RAID 1 and RAID 6 configured. RAID 1 - has 2 x 300GB disk RAID 6 - has 6 x 1.2TB disk I want to increase RAID 6 capacity by adding two more disk. The question I want to ask is that, is it possible to add 2 x 1.8TB disk to this RAID 6?

    EpsMalu,

You can using OCE (Online Capacity Expansion) described here. You can also use the 1.8TB drives in the 1.2TB drives Virtual Disk, but it will be configured them into the Virtual Disk as a 1.2TB drive. The free space left over can be used in another Virtual Disk.

    Hope this helps.
