Hello all,

I am attempting to restore from backup an old Windows Server 2008 machine, to a newer PE R340 that has a PERC H730P controller.   The original server had a PERC H700.   The recovery tool of our backup platform allows us to inject drivers, if necessary, when attempting a restore to dissimilar hardware, however, I'm not able to find a Server 2008 driver for the H730P.   I have tried doing a restore without injecting drivers, and the machine just hangs during booting up Windows.

It appears that there are drivers for Server 2008 R2 and Server 2012, for the H730P.   Does anyone know if drivers for Server 2008 R2 or 2012 would work under Server 2008 R1?    (If we get this to work, the machine will be upgraded to a newer release of Windows, so this would only be a temporary workaround.)
