My R630 won't boot on restart because VDisk0 has Foreign state. It's Raid-1 w/ 2- SAS HDDs. Status of both are "Non-Critical"
I can "clear" the state and "import" the foreign raid configuration and the system boots fine. However next time the server restarts it the same situation.
the other VD is working fine, it's Raid-10 w/ 4-SATA SSDs
That is strange that the array goes foreign on each reboot. Initially my thought is the firmware needs to be updated to fix any communication/timing issues that may be causing the array to go foreign.
Another thing to check; Does either of those drives show Failure Predicted=Yes?
Review the LifeCycle log or the PERC controller log for any issues with the array.
I may also recommend run a consistency check on the virtual disk.
Make sure you have a good backup and update storage chain - drivers and firmware.
PERC controller firmware and driver, backplane firmware, hard drive firmware
Thank you for the message with the service tag. I'll watch for the log to be available for me to download.
If possible Export Support Assist Collection and RAID Controller Log through PowerEdge Lifecycle Controller and upload too. Link directions : https://dell.to/3hCZQdH

I think I have enough information with the logs you have provided already.
The Non-Critical status is only indicating that the drives are Non-Dell drives. This could be the root cause of the array failing. Sometimes third party hard drives do not communicate thoroughly with the firmware on our controllers. We can see the communication issue in the LSI log and Alert log.
LSI log:
