We have a PowerEdge 2500 that we are using for our e-mail server.  We have purchased a PowerEdge 2650 for an upgrade.  Both have Perc3-DI controllers with RAID 1. We are running Windows 2003 on both servers.  I'm considering moving the swappable hard drives from the 2500 to the 2650 instead of rebuilding or restoring the mail server on the 2650.  Has anyone tried this?  

I know I will have to reconfigure the IP addresses for the new NIC cards.  What other configuration problems will I run into?  If anyone has performed a similar "migration" with Windows 2003 I'd like to hear what problems they have encountered.
