R430 CPU compatibility E5-2666v3?

Hello,

can someone tell me if the E5-2666v3 can run in a R430 Server?

I couldn't find any lists or Change logs for the Bios. Has someone tested it?

Or did compatible with E5-2600 Family also means that really every CPU is compatible, also OEM like the E5-2666v3 ?

    Hi,

    officially all CPUs out of the following families are supported:

    • Intel® Xeon® EP E5-2600 v3
    • Intel® Xeon® E5-2600 v4

    And here you find the release notes for BIOS v 2.11.0
