Folder quotas

Does the 775 have the option to quota at the folder level and not the volume level?

No, this is a limitation in how quotas are managed by Windows.

    Actually yes it does...

You'll need to be running Storage Server 2003 R2 which has Native Quota Management.

I'm pretty sure you can do this without the R2 version as well, but you'll have to have Storage Management installed.  See this and tell me if my interpretation is correct with what I'm reading...

Looks like you are correct with the software install on the nas.

Now where do I get it and does it install on top of the 775 enterprise edition?

I saw this along time ago or somthing like it and tried to find the version that would work with my version of storage server.

You would need to call Dell sales...ask them for the Storage Management software for your PV775 running Storage Server 2K3.
