H730 Max Drive Size

Hello

I have found a post in this forum that says a PERC H730 will support a 12TB disk.

I want to use 16TB disks though... a DELL NX3240 with PERC H730 would support 12disk with 16TB?

Hello Strixxus,

I am not seeing any 16TB drives as showing as replacement drives for your NX3240. I also checked to see and li looks like the PERC card should support 16TB drives but I am not able to confirm that Dell has validated 16TB drives yet for the NX3240.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

I successfully installed some Seagate Exos X16 for anyone who wanders.

Also the caddy that i used was X7K8W that was different from the part number in my server but still fitted
