MD1200 Virtual Disk Failure

Hi,

We are currently experiencing an issue where we have a MD1200 (at the end of a MD1200 daisy-chain) is reporting a virtual disk failure, but is not reporting any physical disk failures. Is there anything that can be done to recover the virtual disk? I have checked all connections and reseated them to be sure, but still no luck.

Log shows instances of the following issues:

    Hello aarondp,

Looking at the logs that you posted it looks like your MD1200 is attached to an MD3xxx system?  If that is the case, then we will need to look at a support bundle to see why your virtual disk is showing as offline.  I see the errors that it looks like a disk group was removed. If the virtual disk was not moved prior to the diskgroup being removed or deleted, then the virtual disk might have been deleted.  However, to be sure I will need to look at the logs, so I can see what has been done. I will send you a private message so that you can send me the support bundle.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.
