NWTAPE-1.4.0- Cannot bind device
I am trying to bind my tape drive, but I get and error that states NWTAPE error cannot bind device when I boot the Netware OS. So when I try to do backups and I hit "insert" for tape recognition, I get an error"Invalid Operation". Is this NWTAPE-1.4.0 version not compatible with the PowerEdge 6300 with the SONY SDT-10000 Tape drive?
Should I use an old NWTAPE.CDM? Very confused here my ID#6LVU4.

What service pak are you running with NW6?
What SCSI controller is the tape device interfacing with?
Execute a "module nwtape" at the netware console and provide date/file version of nwtape.
