Bios change

Precision 670 bios a07, which was a final version issued by dell. If I change it to a08 which I've been using in precision 490, will it be alright? Or any troublesome?

No you can't-- bios is model specific. It is not interchangeable. You could brick your computer.

The latest bios updates for old computers are usually security updates.

    Doesn't work that way.

It wont let you install the wrong bios.

670 is very very very old.
