Computer won't go on, extra loud fan, orange light on power
My name is mujtuba . I worked on my computer yesterday for about 4 hours . Yesterday i i w busy so didnt opened the pc but today when i tried to switch on the pc the computer had an ember light on the power button and fan is very loud plz help me i took the ram and graphic card out and then put them back but still it is not swithing on
I have the same problem with Dell T3400 PC. The orange light in my PC's power button is steady.
Only the orange light is on in the power button, or just the CD-ROM is running nothing else, and the fan is very loud. I have tried everything, what do you think is the reason for this problem? What percentage of CMOS battery can solve this problem now? Just check by installing a new CMOS battery.

Is amber power button steady or blinking?
When was last time you replaced the motherboard battery?
You could try clearing BIOS:
If you can't get into BIOS setup by pressing F2 at boot, just start with #3, above.
And since this is a workstation, you might get better responses in the Precision Workstation forum.
