Dell Precision 3630 Tower recent BIOS 2.37 update & TPM chip

A user applied a Dell Command update that included a BIOS update on Oct 10,  upon rebooting after the install, the TPM chip reported MISSING, gave 3 options to continue. It could continue to Windows 11.....

On Monday Oct 14, things started to fall apart for this user, without a TPM chip, Outlook security started to fail causing auth errors trying to connect several email accounts to MS servers. Error 657rx.

Once I got into the mix of fixing this PC,  I rolled back the BIOS update to the previous version.2.36  After rebooting the TPM still was missing.  Next Morning I powered off the PC from the attached U.P.S. for 10 minutes and that finally restored the TPM chip to the MB and a normal boot occurred and windows reported a TPM chip thru TPM.MSC and Outlook auth began working for the 2 email accounts.

having the computer unpowered for a while helped.  What a horrible bug to let thru.

We also had some problems with other programs after this.
