Can you elaborate? I am planning to buy a Dell Precision 7920 with one 2080 RTX Graphics card. Does it fit? Are any cables missing?

The T7920 comes standard with 3 x 8-pin GPU power cables. The RTX2080 Ti requires 2x8-pin EACH. In order to put two of these cards into the T7920, you would need another 8-pin GPU cable. On the backside of the motherboard, there's actually a 4TH POWER_VGA4 connector, which in theory you could plug another one of those 0TN9TD GPU cables into. I haven't tried yet b/c too am having issues finding this cable. The only place I found it is eBay, but I'd rather buy it direct from Dell if they would ever make it available.

NOTE: one word of caution is that some RTX2080Ti cards are pretty tall with their heatsink/fans. Plugging these GPU power cables might kink if the card is too tall.

Can a standard 8-pin to 8+8-pin (or (6+2)+(6+2))-pin be used instead? Currently facing this dilemma but with a Precision 3930 and a 2080 Ti.

Yes you can. I'm currently using a generic 8pin to dual 6+2pin splitter on my T5600 with RTX 2070. It should be fine with your 7920 as well.

did anyone get this setup working with 2 x 2080 RTX Graphics with an SLI bridge?

It seems like they would not physically fit into the casing next to each other as the SLI bridge forces a PCI slot between them.

I'm looking for help verifying compatibility of 8-pin GPU power cables for my Precision 7090T workstation. I'm planning to install dual RTX 3090s and need to confirm the proper power cables.

• Model: Precision 7920T
• PSU: 1400W
• CPU: Dual Xeon Gold 3136
• RAM: 256GB
• OS: Windows 11 Pro for Workstations
• Current GPU Power: 3x 8-pin 0TN9TD cables

My Precision 7920T currently has 3 DP/N 0TN9TD cables and for this project I need 4th. My search online has led me to DP/N 0G3W07 8-pin cable, which is considerably cheaper and is advertised as compatible with "Dell Precision models T7920, T5820, 7820, 5820" workstations. Before purchasing, I'd like to verify compatibility since these are high-power GPUs.

Questions:

1. Can someone confirm if the 0G3W07 is compatible with my T7920?
2. What's the difference between the 0TN9TD and 0G3W07 cables if any?
3. Where can I find official Dell part numbers for both components and compatible upgrades? I manage several Dell systems and need a reliable way to look up part numbers for various hardware components.

Current known compatibility:

• 0TN9TD: Currently using in Precision 7920T
• 0G3W07: Advertised for T7920, T5820, 7820, Precision 5820
