My 1700 quit printing accept for one document saying that the photoconductor needed to be replaced and it would no longer print until it was. I unplugged the printer, installed a new photoconductor, powered it back up and it still is doing the same thing. I have tried multiple times, with two different new photoconductors, even with new toner installed as well. Does anyone know of anything else I can do to get it to accept the photoconductor?

You have to reset the PhotoConductor counter in the printer itself. To do this, insert the unit and while you have the door open hold down the Cancel button until all the lights begin to flash. When it finishes, you can close the door and the counter will be reset.
