Anybody tried changing the IP address on a 1710dn after it has been installed?

I did and had a problem. When I installed the software the printer had grabbed 192.168.110.113. I wanted it to use 192.168.110.120 so I used the supplied utility to change the IP, which worked fine. Unfortunately my PC still thought it was at 113.

I installed the software on 3 other PC's and they all were fine, but I could not get the original PC to change the IP to 120. Nowhere in the printer settings is a place to change the IP. It will show you the IP, but will not let you change it.

I called support and the non-English speaking person I spoke to implied that I should be able to change the IP through the printer properties and since I could not it must be a problem with my PC (also a Dell) and transferred me to another non English speaking person who would not help me because I had a printer problem and not a PC problem.

After digging through the registry I finally found where the IP adress is stored and fixed it, but it should not be that difficult.
