Hi
I'm afraid you'll need to contact Dell. The fault will probably require a service call. If my memory serves it has something to do with the developer drum.
i had the same problem with our printer here. After having dell come out and replace the system board on the printer(and not fixing the issue), we discovered what the issue was. If you print to the printer from Unix systems, there is a setting on the printer that is turned off by default that needs to be turned on. There was a setting that says Text mode = off that needs to be turned on for unix based printing. The error you have listed is what would show up on the printer everytime a unix job was sent to it.
I'm getting this same error. I tried to print from a Mac which didn't work so I tried the update which hung and now I get this message as soon as the printer is turned on. How were you able to change the setting / fix the printer?
