922 aio printer
i have been a satisfied dell owner and user for 3 years now with no problems til now. and since my warranty is expired cant seem to get help from dell. my printer reads COVER OPEN in the display window and the buttons do not function any one have a fix to this problem? all replies greatly appreciated.

There is a black plastic tab toward the back of the bottom of the lid, about 6 inches to the left of the right side of the printer. This tab hits a hidden switch located just under the top. It tells the ink cart carrier to go to the center when the lid is opened.
