966 Printer blue screen

can someone please help me on this, I am trying to install my printer for wireless, i have the adapter in the back and everytime I go through the cd it takes me so far then my computer goes to all Blue and I have to restart it I have been on the phone for hours and no one can seem to help me I just want to print wirless on my labtop. But it crashes my system. I was able to install it fine on my desktop that I have and print wirelessly but it just dosnt want to work with my XPS Laptop. The printer is the 966

    when yOu are installing frOm the cd, the printer is hOoked up via USB, right? try checking Out yOur biOs, under OnbOard devices make sure that yOu are not booting frOm yOur USB cOntrOller.

    There was an update just released for this printer. Please uninstall the software from add/remove programs and install the updated driver. Then try to install the wireless adapter.

    I am having this same problem (blue screen) with my XPSM1210 (MC2005) and an AIO 964 printer.  Please can someone help me as it is driving me nuts, and I really need to print.

    check the IP address On the printer itself and try tO dOwnlOad the drivers frOm the suppOrt website.  if the printer is giving Out a valid IP try to manually add the printer using the installatiOn frOm the website..
