Consider these suggestions only

If the printer is still under warranty and you bought it from the original owner, maybe you can have him transfer the warranty  to you.. this is pretty easy to do with Dell ... but they may not do it since it was purchased at auction.

Another option is to go to the Lexmark site and find the Lexmark model that is the same printer as yours and then see if you can obtain a part from them.
