I've just installed a new color cartridge into my printer. I went through the steps 3 or 4 times. My printer prints perfectly but the ink level still reads very low. Can someone please tell me how to fix this problem? :smileymad:
The 942 is supposed to reset the ink level automatically. You can try wiping the electrical contacts on the back of the new ink cart. Even if you can't get the ink level indicator to correctly display full, the printer will still print just as many pages as it would if the level says full. The level indicator has no bearing on printing, it only informs you. Also the 3 colors are used at different rates so the level indicator is not very accurate anyway.
