Scanning multi page documents using 966 document feeder

Is there any way to get the 966 to scan multiple pages using the document feeder at the top.

It seems to me that if it can do it for copying why can't it do it for scanning. Either way it moves the page past the scanning head.

If it's a software issue is there any third party software which will do it.

Thanks

Rob

    Rob,

My Dell Printers can. What are you trying to scan to?

    Rob,

Since you upgraded to Windows 7, did you install the drivers in order? How to Install Drivers in Microsoft® Windows® on Dell Systems If Windows 7 drivers could not be found, then try using the Vista drivers in the compatibility mode.

Right click on the drivers file, left click properties, left click compatibility. Change the compatibility to Vista. Then right click on the drivers, left click run as administrator.

Some drivers/programs need installed in the compatibility mode, so it's a procedure you may want to remember. As long as everything is working, then it sounds great.

    Take care,

    Rick

    Thanks for the response Rick.

I was scanning to a file as PDF.

Have just downloaded the latest 966 driver as I have just upgraded to Win7 and it now seems to scan multiple pages............maybe I was doing something wrong previously.
